Yoga Foundations Thursday 9th April 9am – 12pm

Are you new to Yoga or don’t feel confident to attend a class? Maybe you are a regular practitioner and would like to learn more about alignment within the poses.

I run this foundation workshop twice a year and this is a great 3 hour workshop to either build your confidence up in your current practice, or give you the confidence to step into a class for the first time.

As the name suggests we will be covering the foundations of yoga and alignment, including standing poses, back bends, forward bends, balances, and transitions and touching on inversions.

There will be plenty of opportunities to practice the poses, ask questions, and refine your alignment.

This workshop will help you to learn about creating a safe and stable practice that benefits your body through modifications and prop support.

We will also cover the importance of spinal health and why bringing more strength and less stretch into your body is important and safer ways to find release in your body.

The practice of asana and yoga can be an amazing tool to balance out how we live our day to day lives, these three hours will help you to feel those benefits in each class you take help you to avoid injury and gain the most benefits out of your practice.

All levels are invited to attend.
