All classes are based on Vinyasa yoga, which is a flowing style of yoga, connecting breath and movement…..much like a moving meditation. Each class you attend finishes with a savasana meditation and a gentle head massage.
This is an all level yoga practice which creates a deeper, body, mind and soul connection. Adding more balance into your practice through connecting asana (poses) and breath, while focusing on correct alignment. Plenty of moments to pause allowing you to reconnect back with the natural rhythm of your breath and to challenge the body.
This class is suitable for beginners and all levels, with lots of options to take your practice to a level that honours you.
In this practice we slow things right down by enjoying gentle flows of movement, that connect seamlessly with the breath. Making time for longer holds, allowing for moments of reflection.
Time is also taken for meditation with a focus on using the breath to calm the mind and nervous system.
In this class we incorporate less asanas (poses) so you can spend more time adjusting and enjoying each pose.
This class is suitable for all levels with a focus on getting back to the basics of asana practice (the poses). Covering, standing postures, twists, back bends, forward folds, inversions, core stability, and spinal health. Included in this are warrior poses and sun sulutations.
We will take time in this class to check the alignment of our poses for our individual bodies. Focusing on how we can modify as we need, and adjust for safety.
Mindfulness and Meditation
This is a 45-minute class where you will be introduced to a range of mindfulness and meditation techniques both through the discussion and the experience of the practice itself. The guided meditations range from 10 minutes to 25 minutes with an option to sit in a chair or lay down. There are opportunities to ask questions and discuss challenges in each class. This class is a wonderful way to explore the amazing healing benefits of this practice.
